My yoga practice has been quite a journey thus far. I found the fitness side of yoga in 2015 after having a Gastric Sleeve surgery. Yoga helped me lose more weight and tone my muscles. That first year of learning yoga focused solely on the physical movement, practicing yoga, running and walking. My body went from 321 pounds to 160…over the years I have gained some back, still struggling with food addiction and low self confidence.
Through the help of my sweet husband and some encouragement from friends, I came back to my passion, Yoga. While the physical body is so important to care for, I needed something more! The movement of my soul and mind…through my heart. This is where the real healing begins…
